This version does not have any new features. Only difference is #define MASTER_LEFT on config.f file. silakka54_vial_RIGHT.uf2 instead has #define MASTER_RIGHT.
If you want to use the left side USB only, flash silakka54_vial_LEFT.uf2 to both MCU's, and silakka54_vial_RIGHT.uf2 to both if you want to use the right side USB. In theory, you could upload LEFT to left side and RIGHT to right side. It should allow to use both USB ports.
Remember to back up your layout before flashing!
